April Lockhart

April Lockhart is a born on July 4 April, 1995. As a seventh-grade student, she started taking guitar lessons and piano lessons. This ignited her passion to write songs. April Lockhart composed her first single"Different" when she was twelve years old. When April was 14 years old, she devoted an enormous amount of time making song concepts as well as perfecting the song. Soon after, April started to travel with her dad as well as write her songs either in NY as well as LA. April also began to include different topics related to some of her classmates who struggle with such things as peer pressure disabilities and even teenage suicide as depicted in the song Take my Hand. Lockhart is also gaining a growing fan base as a lifestyle blogger and is employed by the renowned Clean Beauty company Ilia. She was not born with a left-hand, which is why she's who she is. However, that's not the full story. Lockhart's Instagram profile doesn't conceal her handicap, but it doesn't just focus on her disability. The point? It's crucial to understand that each of us has many faces, our identities are varied and we are much greater than the bodies we wear. I do not want this to define me I don't wish to become a disability influencer where that's all I discuss because there are so many other things about me. Lockhart states in video form from her house in Nashville. My daily life isn't directly affected by disability. I live my normal day-to-day life and discover my own solutions to problems. This is a major element of my life therefore it's important that we talk about the subject. Lockhart has been a great inspiration to her fellow women in the area of self-acceptance. She has had periods where she felt insecure about dressing in certain styles that showed her arms. She wears what she likes and proudly posts pictures of herself wearing the clothes she wears on social media. It's a journey is the most important thing. I'm not certain that you ever arrive she says about self-love. This is a process, and I'm sure that you never arrive. It's important to be surrounded by people who can really understand you.
