Zazie Beetz was born in 1991 was born in Berlin. Her father, an German cabinetmaker, who came into America United States after the Fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990, is also her mother, a South African American social worker. Jennifer Aniston attended the same high-school as Beetz. Beetz was a student at Skidmore College to study French following her graduation from LaGuardia. After college she immediately auditioned and won the part in the role of Van in Atlanta. Beetz was born in Berlin with two parents: a German father, and an African American Mother. Her family was both within New York. Zazie has been performing in local theaters from the time she was a young child. The actress discovered her passion and started acting at the age of elementary school. Zendaya landed the Disney Channel breakout role thanks her impressive dancing skills. It was in 2010 that the actress and dancer finally scored her first major role, when Bella Thorne cast her as Rocky Blue. Zendaya went vegetarian at the age of eleven after passing by an animal slaughterhouse with her father on a roadtrip. PEOPLE reported that she said: "I thought all those animals were horrifically cruel being packed into there and waiting for slaughter. I was shocked to discover that's where I'd been getting my meat!" Since that time, she's been on an incredibly strict vegan diet.
