Police are investigating the body of a manthought to be the local rapper WizDaWizard discovered at the front of a house early on Friday morning within Hallandale Beach. The body was discovered by police officers in the residence just off Northwest 6th Terrace & 10th Street shortly before 8 am. Social media posts claim the victim was rapper WizDaWizard. Hallandale Beach Police have not confirmed the identity of the deceased or stated the circumstances that led to his death and have noted that the existence of "unusual situations" that are unique to the situation. "He is a household name in South Florida, however, due to the credibility of the investigation and the proper notification to the family members, we're not planning to reveal that at this time," said Captain Megan Jones of the Hallandale Beach Police Department. Neighbors were told by NBC 6 no one has resided at the residence where the body was found for a number of months. The police are also looking into the shooting of rapper SpotemGottem as he drove in the direction of I-95.
